A leading hospice organization in New York seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care under the supervision of RNs. The LPN will provide essential services, document patient conditions, and assist with daily living activities while ensuring quality care in diverse home environments. This role involves flexibility, effective communication, and teamwork, with opportunities for certification in hospice and palliative care.

As a member of the Hospice team, the LPN works primarily in a support role by performing tasks within the framework of case findings, health teaching, health counseling, and supportive care under the supervision of a registered nurse, carrying out the nursing process. The LPN works under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed physician and interacts with patients, spouses, significant others, family members, physicians, and team members, in line with the mission of Hospice.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: $27-29 per hour plus mileage reimbursement!
FLSA: Non-Exempt
