Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current, active LPN license in the state of practice (New Jersey).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, physician orders, and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care per established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered within scope of practice.
• Assist RNs or physicians with patient assessments and care planning.
• Collect specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests.
• Provide wound care and infection control measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR/EMR.
• Educate patients on medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

PRN: 2 pm-10 pm (shift differential $4.00), 10 pm-6 am (shift differential $3.50)Position SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. LPN supports patient care activities, administers medications, monitors patient conditions, and assists with treatment plans while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
