Job summary

The Terraces at Lawrence is hiring an LPN for full- and part-time and PRN positions. Shifts available include 3p-11p, with daily pay and sign-on bonuses.

Licensed practical nurses provide direct resident care, administer medications, and follow care plans in a 98-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting. We value Passion, Respect, and Excellence, offering tuition reimbursement, benefits, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state listed in the ad (NJ).
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per plan of care and physician orders.
• Follow individualized care plans with nurse manager and team.
• Perform medication administration as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with orders and standards.
• Support a safe, respectful environment for residents and families.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of NJ
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
