Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking an LPN to support medically fragile students 1-1 in a school setting in Lakewood, WA. You will provide care for students with complex needs, including trach and G-tube care, and assist with safe transfers during the school day.

The role offers full-time hours, W-2 employment with liability insurance, health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and reimbursement for licensure/CEUs. Prior pediatric experience is preferred and a valid WA license is required.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LPN license (DOH) or Compact Multi-State Nursing License.
• Experience with trach care and G-tube required.
• Must have current car registration and Passport or Enhanced Driver’s License.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check.
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to students in school.
• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus.
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans.
• Support student access to school throughout the day.
