Job summary

Prairie Place Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN hours. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents and collaborate with the care team to ensure positive outcomes and family satisfaction.

The role requires adherence to state laws and nursing practice standards, with leadership duties during shifts. Candidates must hold an active LPN license in the state of practice and have prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience.

Qualifications

• Active, in-good-standing LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience as an LPN in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Direct nursing care during assigned shift; manage staff assignments and educate nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve resident care goals.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Licensed Practical Nurse | LPN, you are responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. You will operate within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act. As an LPN, you will be responsible for resident care and direction of nursing care during assigned shift; includes staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, and working with physicians and other medical professionals.

• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Must have active, and in good standing, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
