Job summary

Care Suites of Harrison/Maple Esplanade is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a growing team in Harrison, AR. The ideal candidate will hold a current LPN license and have prior LPN experience, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

This is a full-time weekend doubles position. The role emphasizes coordinating total patient care with RNs and physicians, maintaining accurate care plans, and preparing progress notes.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN.
• Current state license as an LPN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with the RN and physician's plan of care.
• Accurately report and record patient condition and care, including signs of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions when giving patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events or significant changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications
