Job summary

Centerstone in Hannibal, MO seeks a compassionate LPN or Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. You will support providers, perform vital signs, collect specimens, and help coordinate patient care in a team-focused environment.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with comprehensive benefits, PTO, loan repayment eligibility, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with MO license or ability to obtain.
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; must meet MO licensure.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs (height, weight, BP, pulse, temp).
• Review medical histories, medications, and visit reason.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications/injections within scope.
• Collect lab specimens and support lab services as needed.
• Document care accurately in the EHR; coordinate with care team.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care.
