Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for private duty homecare. The role offers flexible scheduling—full-time, part-time, or PRN—and days, nights and weekend shifts to match your availability.

Local 24/7 support from a multidisciplinary team and a tablet in each patient’s home for electronic documentation help you stay connected and deliver quality care. Career pathing and opportunities for skill advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component).
• TB skin test current within 12 months.
• Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate homecare to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and document care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to caregivers.
• Collaborate with family and healthcare team to achieve clinical goals.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)

• Must have reliable transportation
