The Crossroads at Flowery Branch, operated by Journey, is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses for 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts.

• Current unrestricted LPN license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of licensed practical nurse and CNA staff.
• Promotes holistic care for residents by following the nursing model.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed by nursing staff.
• Assists in admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Monitors changes in residents’ status and communicates with physician/family.
• Transcribes physician orders and carries out orders as written.

The Crossroads of Flowery Branch is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Eligible full-time and part-time Care Team Members can earn an additional $5/hr attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts. We also offer weekly pay with DailyPay available. The team can review the exact schedule during the interview.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and guidelines and established facility policies and procedures.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.
• Ensures that policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned.
• Participates in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses for changes in residents’ status, notifying the physician and resident’s family or representative and documenting accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical record and carries out orders as written.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
