Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, part of First Atlantic Healthcare, is seeking licensed practical nurses for Per Diem shifts (days and nights). The center offers competitive pay and benefits with a wage range of $28.00–$33.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Active License as an LPN in the State of Maine (new grads welcome!).

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, administer care and medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with basic medical procedures.
• Assist residents with personal care and mobility, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and safe transfers.
• Maintain thorough EMR updates, communicate changes to medical staff, and explain treatments to families.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), you will uphold medical routines, administer care, and serve as a vital link for residents and their families. Responsibilities include:

• Clinical Care: Administering medications, changing dressings/bandages, checking vitals, and assisting with basic medical procedures.
• Resident Support: Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and safely moving residents between beds, wheelchairs, and gurneys.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintaining thorough EMR updates, evaluating resident well-being, reporting changes to medical staff, and explaining treatments to families.
