The Orchards at Northwest in Detroit, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position offers opportunities to provide direct patient care in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

As an LPN, you will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes for residents. LPN licensure is required with a preference for at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required to practice.
• 1 year of licensure preferred.
• Experience in patient care settings is a plus.

The Orchards at Northwest is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned


• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned


• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families


• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities


• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients


• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)


• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered


• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients


• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:

• LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
