Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living community on the 11 PM–7 AM shift. You will provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, focusing on resident well-being, safety, and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include collecting patient data, administering medications, documenting changes, and coordinating with RNs and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical nursing.
• Current LPN license in NH.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must provide verification of TB test per state law.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

• Collect, report, and document patient data; observe and report changes to the RN.
• Contribute to individualized patient care plans; establish goals and interventions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to the RN and/or physician.
• Monitor and supervise care provided by unlicensed staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Utilize PCC for documentation and maintain accurate drug counts.

As an LPN, you'll work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver efficient and effective nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Position Highlights

• *Contribute to individualized patient care plans, including establishing goals and developing interventions.
• *Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.
• *Communicate pertinent patient data to the RN and/or physician.
• *Monitor and supervise patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring job duties are performed according to policies and procedures.
• *Utilize Point Click Care (PCC) for documentation and maintain accurate drug counts.

Qualifications

• *Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• *Current Licensed Practical Nurse license by the State Board of Nursing in the center’s state is required.
• * Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients to respond to their medical and physical needs.
• * Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
• *Maintain current BLS/CPR certification (as required by State).

Posted Salary Range
