East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian, MS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support its Quality Assurance and Utilization Review programs. The role offers a weekday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no nights or weekends and state benefits.

You will track HBIPS data, conduct UR activities, and report metrics to the QA Director while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve care quality.

Formación

• Certificate from an approved school of nursing
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• 0-4 years of nursing experience
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Track, trend, and submit Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services (HBIPS) data accurately and on time
• Carry out utilization review activities according to established policies and procedures
• Collect, analyze, combine, and report utilization review data to the QA Director each month
• Collect, analyze, combine, and report assigned quality assurance data to the QA Director each month
• Keep accurate records and help ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Work with interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement efforts

Want an LPN job that goes beyond direct patient care? East Mississippi State Hospital (EMSH) in Meridian is hiring an LPN to support its Quality Assurance (QA) and Utilization Review (UR) programs. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends. It's a state job, so you'll get state health insurance, a state retirement plan (PERS), 18 days of personal leave, and 10 paid holidays a year.
