Job summary

The Woodlands of Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an LPN to lead our nursing team in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications as ordered, and ensure safe, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN and maintain current licensure.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a senior living or clinical setting.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants as required.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports on shift activities to the supervisor.
• Ensure adequate medication supplies and equipment are on hand.
• Maintain accurate medical charts and documentation.

LPN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
