Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for private duty home health in the Chicago area. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in patients' homes and work closely with families and clinicians to meet personalized care plans.

Candidates must hold an active LPN/LVN license, have CPR certification, and be able to travel to patient locations. We offer flexibility with full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts, with 24/7 local support and opportunities

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
