Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide efficient nursing care under the direction of an RN in a long-term care setting. You will evaluate residents, participate in assessments, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved LPN program, currently licensed or pending licensure, and maintains BLS/CPR certification as required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $30.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr.
