Genesiscareers is seeking Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in New Jersey to deliver high-quality nursing care under RN supervision. You will evaluate residents, contribute to care plans, administer medications, and oversee unlicensed staff to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduate-level LPNs with NJ licensure (or in progress), maintain current BLS/CPR, and are able to participate in variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective nursing care under RN supervision.
• Evaluate patients/residents, observe changes, and report findings.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per orders.
• Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.

Education

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
