Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking an LPN for its Adult Medicine practice in Cape Coral, FL. The role involves patient intake, vital signs, medication review and charting within our Cape Coral location.

You will administer prescribed medications, assist the clinical team, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance. A Florida LPN license and CPR certification are required or obtainable on hire, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN license (Florida) is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to develop and maintain rapport with providers, staff and patients.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience or equivalent medical education/work experience.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers ,Estero and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking an LPN for our Adult Medicine practice in Cape Coral, FL for our Cay Adult Medicine Location.

Our LPN’s

• Perform patient intake including vital signs, medical history, and medication review
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Record chart information accurately into our patient management system
• Assists Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members as needed
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

To Be Successful – You Need

• A valid current State of Florida license to practical nurse (LPN)
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications
• One year of clinical experience or a combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
