Job summary

The Legacy Rehab & Care Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will work with a compassionate team to provide high-quality resident care and maintain compliance with best practices.

Qualifications

• BS or diploma in nursing required.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Maintain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Active Nursing license.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess resident conditions with a caring touch.
• Observe and interpret resident symptoms and communicate with physicians.
• Provide psychological support and create a comforting environment for residents.
• Resolve residents' needs and issues to improve satisfaction.
• Prepare residents for examinations and conduct routine diagnostic checks.
• Demonstrate resilience during healthcare emergencies.
• Delegate and administer workloads within the team.
• Adhere to care regulations and standards to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise and guide support nursing staff on the unit.
• Provide on-call nursing services.

Requirements and Qualifications
