Axia Women’s Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Main Line Women's Healthcare in Bryn Mawr, PA, with support for King of Prussia & Plymouth Meeting offices as needed.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM with flexibility for evening hours. The LPN will triage, document, educate, and support care using EMR tools and established protocols.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Active state LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience in a medical facility/office, preferably Ob/Gyn.
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience a plus.
• Knowledge of CPT coding beneficial.
• Knowledge of lab order sets beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Document signs, symptoms, nursing assessments, and advised actions in the EMR.
• Pull lab and imaging results and discuss with physicians or RNs.

• Perform phlebotomy where permitted by state regulations.
• Provide patient education on follow-ups, medications, and therapies.
• Assist with phone triage under RN or provider supervision.

We are currently recruiting for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Main Line Women's Healthcare located in Bryn Mawr, PA and supporting King of Prussia & Plymouth Meeting offices as needed.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professional engages Axia Women’s Health patients either directly or by telephone, assisting with patient triage, recording critical patient information, and providing information to patients so that they may fully benefit from our clinical services.

Essential Functions:

• Utilizes established triage protocols and guidelines to evaluate and assess patient’s/caller’s health care needs based on signs, symptoms, complaints, and lab results.
• Obtains appropriate input and direction from care center RNs or providers, as needed, to determine and recommend the best clinical course of action for specific patient’s/caller’s health care.
• Accurately documents patients’/callers’ signs, symptoms, complaints, nursing assessments, provided advice, and responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Pulls lab and imaging results, adds them to the EMR, and consults with physicians or RNs regarding test results as needed.
• Assists with medication refill requests following provider-approved protocols and under appropriate supervision.
• Performs phlebotomy (where permitted by state regulations and facility policies).
• Provides patient education on prescribed follow-ups, medications, and therapies, and reinforces provider-directed instructions.
• Assists, as needed, with phone triage under RN or provider supervision.

Education & Experience:

• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Active state LPN license.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience working as an LPN in a medical facility/office, preferably Ob/Gyn.
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience a plus.
• Knowledge of specific lab order sets beneficial.
• Knowledge of CPT coding beneficial.

Pay or shift range:

$28 to $33

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
