Job summary

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for both full-time and part-time roles. Shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with compensation of $32-$39 per hour (all inclusive) and same-day pay.

You will provide patient-centered nursing care per the care plan, perform med administration, monitor residents, and document experiences accurately. Maryland LPN license and CPR/BLS certification are required, with strong multitasking and

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in Maryland.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards and the plan of care.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly, respond to clinical needs.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of Maryland
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
