MCDONALD COUNTY LIVING CENTER in Anderson, Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift to join our team. The LPN will provide nursing care, administer medications, and support patients and families with health instructions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, assisting with admissions/discharges, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe, comfortable unit environment. LPN licensure is required; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required; one year preferred.
• Ability to work night shift and handle nursing tasks.
• Familiar with patient care, medications, and documentation.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:

• LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
