CarePine Home Health is seeking licensed practical nurses to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing in Allentown and surrounding areas. Choose from day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts with flexible schedules.

Compensation up to $35/hour includes PTO and benefits, with travel to homes and schools as needed. Ideal candidates hold a PA LPN license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license, plus experience in pediatric private duty or similar settings.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license is required.
• CPR certification is mandatory for patient care.
• Valid driver’s license required for local travel.
• Experience in pediatric private duty nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and accurate documentation across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients at home or school.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments per care plan.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to supervising RN.
• Perform G-tube, tracheostomy, vent care as applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow policies.

CarePine Home Health is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing cases throughout Allentown, Bethlehem, Whitehall, Bath, Alburtis, and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do

As a CarePine LPN, you will provide individualized skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes and/or school settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse
• Provide G-tube, respiratory, seizure, diabetic, and other skilled nursing care as applicable
• Perform tracheostomy and ventilator care for applicable cases
• Assist with feeding, transfers, mobility, and total care needs when required
• Communicate with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow CarePine policies and applicable healthcare regulations

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Pediatric nursing, private duty nursing, or related skilled nursing experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a home-care environment

Trach/vent experience may be required for specific patient assignments.

Work Environment

This position primarily provides one-on-one pediatric nursing care in home and school settings. Local travel may be required depending on the assigned case.

Full-time and part-time schedules are available based on current patient needs and nurse availability.
