UK St. Claire (UKSC) seeks a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care under physicians and advanced practice nurses. You will support orthopedic operations, manage patient flow, and participate in orientation and training for new staff. Ensures accurate documentation and contributes to high-quality patient care across age groups.
Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, updating records, and leading the orthopedic team to meet daily clinical needs.

Responsible for delivering nursing care under the supervision of physicians and advanced practice nurse practitioners. Performs patient care, administrative tasks, and triage in accordance with regulatory standards and established protocols. Leads and supports orthopedic team members to ensure efficient clinical operations and effective patient flow. Communicates significant clinical issues to leadership and assists with new employee orientation and training. Manages patient movement to optimize provider efficiency and quality care across all age populations.
High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in relevant area.
0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in applicable state , Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, Casting Certified based on assigned area
