Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Rehab LPN/LVN to help patients regain strength and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. You’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in patient progress.

You will administer medications, assist with mobility and ADLs, monitor vital signs, document progress, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. No travel required.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living to support therapy goals.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes.
• Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
• Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly


• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence


• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly


• Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination


• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques


• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
