Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. We offer $37-$39/hour with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay, and a RapidPay Card.

Local shifts are available, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling to fit your availability. Per diem clinicians enjoy support from local Staffing Coordinators and opportunities for full-time hours, plus a hiring bonus after completing 2 shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
