Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. Earn $37-$39/hour with same-day or next-day pay options and flexible scheduling.

Per diem positions offer local opportunities with fast onboarding and ongoing support from your local staffing coordinators. Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
