Job summary

Saint Luke's GI Specialists Team in Overland Park seeks a dedicated LPN for our GI clinics. This full-time day position runs 8am–4:30pm with no weekends or holidays, requiring KS and MO LPN licensure and an associate degree.

The ideal candidate will be organized, patient-focused, and capable of multi-tasking in a collaborative clinic setting, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with KS and MO NURSYS licensure.

• Clinic or GI experience preferred; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for assigned providers and patient care in the GI clinic.
• Nursing triage calls, patient education, and prior authorizations for infusions and procedures.
• Screen walk-in patients and perform telephone screening with protocols.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.
• May cover Medical Assistant duties as needed.
• Maintain professional demeanor and excellent customer service at all times.

Saint Luke's GI Specialists Team is now seeking an LPN for our Overland Park location! FT Days 8am-4:30pm, no weekends and no holidays RN MO and KS required BLS Required Clinic experience or some GI experience preferred.

We are seeking a LPN to join our team in Gastroenterology clinics. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support for assigned providers, patient care, nursing triage calls, patient education, prior authorizations for infusions/special procedures and compounded drugs, in basket messages, prescription refills and other duties as assigned.
• Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
• Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, and other duties as assigned by respective clinic.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as autonomously.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.

KS & MO LPN License required; if the ideal candidate does not possess dual licensure at time of offer, he/she may be given an offer contingent upon completion of dual licensure within 90 days of start.
