Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, an LPN provides care, assumes responsibility for residents/patients during a shift, and coordinates, implements, and evaluates their care plans. The LPN manages the environment to ensure safety, supervises nursing assistants, and follows all policies and procedures as per the State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Education and Experience

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements by law
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company applications
