Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, an LPN performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating care plans, managing the environment for safety, supervising nursing assistants, and following all policies and procedures as per the State Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; basic computer skills with an aptitude to learn company applications
