Role Responsibilities

Under supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, the LPN performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating care plans, managing safety, supervising nursing assistants, and adhering to all policies and procedures according to the State Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed in the State as an LPN
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements by law
• Effective communication and positive interaction with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills
