Position Details:

Shift(s): 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Starting Pay: $27.00 and up, depending on experience (Additional shift differentials apply for ALL shifts including weekends)

What You’ll Do:

As an LPN at Friends Homes, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Record patients' medical history accurately and monitor their condition.
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.).
• Observe patients for progress, side effects of medications, and general well-being.
• Assist with daily activities such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, and other basic medical care tasks.
• Clean and dress wounds, collect lab samples, and provide emotional and psychological support.
• Communicate with patients’ families to provide updates and comfort.
  
  
  

Requirements:

Required:

• Proven experience as an LPN
• Licensed Nurse (LPN) in the State of NC
• Strong understanding of nursing best practices and hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation.
