NO WEEKENDS OR ON-CALL, DAY HOURS

WAGE - $30/HR

Mosaic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Float Pool to join our team.

In this role, you will assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in achieving their best possible health. Responsibilities include advocacy with healthcare providers, administering medications and injections, monitoring health status, and communicating with the support team regarding any changes.

What you'll do:
  • Provide nursing support and consultation in accordance with the state's Nurse Practice Act and physician orders
  • Ensure routine and preventive health services, including medication administration, are completed accurately and according to regulations
  • Provide health-related education to individuals served and staff
  • Maintain and review electronic healthcare records, document accurately, and update agency leaders as needed
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues, individuals served, their providers, and families/guardians
Schedule & Location:

8-hour shifts, up to 24 hours per week, with a minimum of 24 hours per quarter. No holiday or weekend work required, no on-call duties. Travel within the Grand Island and Axtell areas is expected.

Salary:

$30 per hour
