Henry Community Health seeks a Practical Nurse to deliver technical nursing care under general supervision. The role administers prescribed treatments following approved nursing procedures and supports patient education as patients show readiness to learn.

The position includes floating to other units as needed, maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and staff, and ensuring care across the lifespan from infants to seniors. Indiana licensure is required or in process.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse program.
• Indiana licensure as LPN or awaiting results/reciprocity for licensure.
• One-year experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in providing nursing care to patients.
• Plans appropriate nursing measures based on short-term patient needs.
• Reinforces patient education as patient presents readiness to learn.
• Floats to other units within the practice when a need is indicated.
• Communicates effectively and maintains relationships with patients, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Knowledgeable in growth and development from infants to geriatrics.
• Follows Universal Precautions.
• Passes practice-specific competencies.
