Job summary

University Home Care Inc. is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to staff facilities in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. You can set your own schedule and advance your nursing career while providing patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include collecting patient information, monitoring health histories, recording vital signs, changing dressings, verifying medications, and remaining on-call for emergencies. You’ll work under an RN in diverse healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Must have LPN license/certification.
• Must have BLS license/certification.
• Must have LVN license/certification.

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasks.

• Remain on-call for patients who have healthcare emergencies.
• Will be working under an RN.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Must have LPL License/certification

• Must be able to provide 2 Step TB skin test/ Tspot results, covid vaccination, flu vaccination, and photo ID


• Must be able to pass a background check


• Reliable transportation


• Ability to adapt and have confidence in multiple healthcare settings
