Job summary

University Home Care is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to staff facilities in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, with the freedom to set your own schedule and advance your career in healthcare through the CarePRN program.

Responsibilities include collecting case information for the case manager, monitoring clients' health and medical history, recording vital signs, dressing changes, medication verification, and staying on-call for emergencies while working under an RN.

Qualifications

• Must have LPL License/certification
• Must have BLS License /certification
• Must have LVN License/ Certification
• Must have previous experience as a LPN
• Must be able to provide 2 Step TB skin test/ Tspot results, covid vaccination, flu vaccination, and photo ID
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to adapt and have confidence in multiple healthcare settings

Responsibilities

• Collect information for the case to report to case manager
• Accurately monitor and track clients' overall healthand medical history during every visit
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure,temperature, heart rate etc.
• Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters,among other related healthcare tasks
• Verify clients are taking the correct dosages ofmedications
• Remain on-call for patients who have healthcare emergencies
• Will be working under and RN
