Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures.
• Prepare injections and medications, dress wounds and surgical incisions, and assist with casting.
• Maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data.
• Handle patient communication, including returning phone calls, calling in prescriptions, and ensuring all required lab work is completed and available prior to patient appointments.
• Triage incoming patient phone calls and relay critical information to the appropriate healthcare provider in a timely manner.
