Job summary

Precision-Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse – Corrections in Indiana, PA for a 13-week contract. The position offers up to $1,650 gross weekly plus benefits from day one and may involve local and travel assignments.

The role requires at least 1 year of nursing experience, PA LPN license, and willingness to work in a correctional facility. Responsibilities include med administration under RN supervision, EKGs, labs, and SOAP documentation.

• Assist RN with patient assessments and care in health care unit and housing units.
• Perform controlled substance counts each shift with proper documentation.
• Obtain EKGs and lab specimens as ordered.
• Respond to medical emergencies and codes per facility protocol.
• Assist with minor procedures as needed.
• Document nursing care using SOAP charting.
• Follow established safety, infection control, and correctional facility protocols.

Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience
• Active, unencumbered LPN license in PA
• Must be willing to work in a correctional facility environment

Certifications:

• AHA BLS
