Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient care across age groups at Advocate Medical Center. The LPN will apply the nursing process to ensure comfort and safety in a calm environment for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Base compensation is within the pay range and may include shift pay, incentives, and annual increases based on performance. A strong focus on professional development and unit-specific guidelines is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduated from accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Successful completion of Pharmacology exam.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, recertified annually.
• Completion of competency checklist within first 90 days of employment.
• Completion of unit specific recommendations within one year.

Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95

The LPN utilizes the nursing process to provide the best care for Advocate Medical Center patients. Provides and maintains a clean, orderly safe, and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment. Provides supportive care to adolescent, adult patients, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Education
  • Graduated from accredited School of Practical Nursing
  • Successful completion of Pharmacology exam

• Experience
  • Previous experience in a hospital or medical office preferred; evidence of continuing professional development preferred
