Licensed Practical Nurse Care Manager / Case Management (LPN)

Amsterdam Nursing Home is actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for all shifts at our Skilled Nursing Facility in New York City.

Compensation: Base rate is $35.38 per hour with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union rate is $45/hr. We have recently increased our rates! A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions. New graduates are welcome to apply! We are now hiring directly into the union.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring residents' food and liquid intake and output

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid NY State LPN license
• Good standing with the State Registry
