Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking an LPN for the Cardio Metabolic team on the Plaza. This full-time role involves 4 ten-hour shifts, 7am–5:30pm, with a rotating day off. The position has no nights or weekends.

Prior cardiac and endocrinology experience is preferred. You will screen walk-in patients, conduct telephone screenings, educate on medications/injections, assist with procedures, and manage wound care and dressing changes.

Qualifications

• Requires LPN with an associate degree.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Experience in cardiac and endocrinology settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen walk-in patients.
• Perform telephone screening per protocols.
• Educate patients on medications and injections.
• Assist with procedures.
• Clean wounds and perform dressing changes.
• Delegate tasks to UAP per scope of practice.
• May cover Medical Assistant duties as needed.

Join our Saint Luke's Cardio Metabolic team on the Plaza as an LPN Full Time Work 4 10 hour shifts, 7am - 530pm with a rotating day off each week M-F No Nights or Weekends Previous cardiac and endocrinology experience is preferred

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for screening walk-in patients
• Responsible for telephone screening (with protocols)
• Responsible for medication/injection education
• Responsible for assist with procedures
• Responsible for cleaning wounds
• Responsible for dressing changes
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed

Qualifications

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Various Associate Degree
