Job summary

Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Bedrock Recovery Center team. Night shift available from 7 PM to 7 AM with salary $34-$41 per hour, plus night and weekend differentials.

Under the guidance of the Nursing Director, the LPN will provide nursing care, prepare and monitor medications, and document in KIPU EMR. The role requires knowledge of addiction treatment, strong communication, and the ability to lift 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year of staff nurse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment and patient confidentiality.
• CPR certification required and nursing licensure.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to clients in inpatient treatment.
• Prepare and monitor medications and treatments.
• Document medications and dosages in KIPU EMR.
• Collaborate with Medical and Clinical teams on recovery plans.
• Support and participate in the client’s daily condition assessments.

# Licensed Practical Nurse - BedrockBedrock Recovery Center - Canton, MA 02021## OverviewSalary Range$34.00 - $41.00 Hourly## Description**Our mission.** Northeast Recovery is a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities. We provide multiple levels of care to those who are prepared to start their journey to recovery.**We are looking for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA.****Schedule: Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)****Salary: $34-$41 per hour (depending on experience) plus night and weekend shift differentials****LPN Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Nursing Director, the LPN will provide exceptional nursing care to each client based on his/her individualized needs.****LPN responsibilities:*** Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in our inpatient treatment program.* Prepares and monitors medications and treatments.* Documents required information, including medications and dosage in KIPU, our EMR system.* Performs all nursing responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.* Observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of clients and takes immediate action when necessary.* Assists and coordinates nursing care with the Medical and Clinical team.* Works with the multi-disciplinary team on the client's recovery plan. The LPN will participate and contribute to this plan by assessing and documenting the client's overall physical condition or changes, daily.**LPN Requirements*** Knowledge of addiction and the 12-Step Recovery Program.* Knowledge of emergency procedures used in the event of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid, CPR and Narcan administering.* Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction.
