Job summary

Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inpatient treatment team. Under Nursing Director supervision, you will administer medications, monitor clients, and coordinate care with the medical and clinical staff.

This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay ($34–$41), night and weekend shift differentials, and opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary program that supports recovery and compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts LPN license required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • 1+ year of LPN experience preferred with substance use setting.
  • Knowledge of addiction and the 12-Step program.

Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in inpatient treatment.
  • Prepares and monitors medications and treatments in KIPU EMR.
  • Documents medications and dosage and observes client status.
  • Collaborates with medical and clinical teams on recovery plans.

Our mission. Northeast Recovery is a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities. We provide multiple levels of care to those who are prepared to start their journey to recovery.We are looking for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA.Schedule: FT, PT or per diem availableSalary: $34-$41 per hour (depending on experience) plus night and weekend shift differentialsLPN Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Nursing Director, the LPN will provide exceptional nursing care to each client based on his/her individualized needs.LPN responsibilities:Provides nursing care to clients enrolled in our inpatient treatment program.Prepares and monitors medications and treatments.Documents required information, including medications and dosage in KIPU, our EMR system.Performs all nursing responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.Observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of clients and takes immediate action when necessary.Assists and coordinates nursing care with the Medical and Clinical team.Works with the multi-disciplinary team on the client's recovery plan. The LPN will participate and contribute to this plan by assessing and documenting the client's overall physical condition or changes, daily.LPN RequirementsKnowledge of addiction and the 12-Step Recovery Program.Knowledge of emergency procedures used in the event of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid, CPR and Narcan administering.Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. This includes Confidentiality, Patient Rights, Professional Code of Ethics and DiscriminationDemonstrates excellent proficiency in communication, observation & written skills.Ability to lift or push 20 pounds or more.Employee may be required to stand and/or move throughout a large portion of the shift.LPN Experience:1+ year of experience as a staff nurse.Experience working with substance use patients or in recovery setting preferred.LPN Required Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications:Current Massachusetts LPN LicenseCPR Certified requiredWhy Work for Us!
