Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or LPN-Graduate Nurse Resident for the Rehabilitation (ARU) department. This part-time role offers 12-hour night shifts and requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.

Qualifications

Shift: 12-Hour Nights

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Physical Requirements/Demands: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
• Experience: Experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit-specific certifications as required.
