Position Details

This position is located within 32nd Street Clinic, Nursing Service at the Phoenix VA Healthcare System in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care, administer medications, and perform clinical procedures as part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).
  • Observe, interview, and document patient data, recognizing signs of emergencies and reporting them promptly.
  • Follow infection control procedures and proper storage and cleaning of reusable medical equipment.
  • Assist physicians, PAs, NPs, and RNs with clinical procedures.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule

0930-1800, Monday through Friday. Not a virtual position. Relocation incentives may be available.

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the U.S.
  • Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
  • Experience in outpatient or PACT settings preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, proficient in English, pass background/security checks, and a pre-employment physical.
  • Participation in seasonal influenza vaccination program required.
