Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient addiction recovery team. You will provide basic medical services, maintain nursing standards, and ensure safe delivery of medications in compliance with facility policy.

The role requires CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification, infection control knowledge, and prior exposure to regulatory standards. Strong record-keeping and ability to triage medical emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
• At least 1 year experience or knowledge in addiction treatment.
• CPR, First Aid, and BLS certifications.
• Knowledge of infection control, QA, and patient care compliance.
• Experience triaging in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about medications used in the treatment setting and their side effects.
• Administer/dispense medications per state and federal regulations, and DEA guidelines.
• Conduct urine drug screens when needed.
• Evaluate intakes, quarterly, annual, AWOL, and impairment assessments.
• Maintain nursing progress notes and patient medical records.
• Participate in case conferences with professional observations.
• Order medical supplies and maintain inventory.
• Coordinate appointments with physicians and provide reminders.
• Provide referrals and follow-up on patient attendance and treatment.
• Respond to emergencies and manage opiate overdose as needed.
