Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois, per diem. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision and medical staff, addressing a spectrum of physical and behavioral health needs.

Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED, an LPN license (or ability to obtain one), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance including a drug screen and background

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a PRN/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Hourly pay rate of $31.50

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
