Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the 3NE Medical/Surgical unit. The FT position includes night shifts with weekends/holidays required, within the Jefferson Regional nursing departments.

Under RN supervision, you will support patient care and coordinate with the care team. Qualifications include a practical nursing diploma and either a diploma or an associate degree, with 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.

3NE Medical/Surgical Full Time Non-Management Jefferson Regional Main Hospital, Pine Bluff, AR, US

• Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on unit need. Refer back to posting on which shift is available. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Registered Nurse, the LPN performs delegated task in facilitating the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes collecting data, competently performing select nursing procedures and assuming responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.

LPN Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing school diploma required.
• Technical or Associate Degree in practical nursing required.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.*
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Basic competency in documenting patient information accurately
• Basic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities
• Provides compassionate support to patients and families, ensuring positive environment in the hospital
• 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting preferred
• Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills preferred.
