Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. This role offers competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, same-day or next-day pay, and the opportunity for full-time hours as needed.

We hire locally, provide a support network with Staffing Coordinators from 5 AM to 11:30 PM, and offer a hiring bonus after two shifts completed. Per diem positions emphasize flexibility and reliable scheduling for dedicated LPNs.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
