Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The role offers hourly pay of $37–$39 and flexible scheduling with per diem availability.

Candidates must have an active LPN license, at least one year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and recent PPD testing. Local applicants preferred and per diem shifts can be matched to patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
